Orange Day Celebration

Orange the color of joy and creativity that promotes a sense of general wellness and emotional energy was celebrated on 18th October 2019 by the compassionate and vibrant kids of kindergarten. The little ones dressed up in orange bubbling with energy and fascination was a great feast to the eyes.

“Best out of Waste” – Eco Club Activity

In order to make children aware of uses of waste material, and to give them a lesson on reducing waste to save our future, a ‘Best out of Waste’ Eco Club activity was organized for students. Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy. Mind-blowing, beyond expectation, fantabulous ideas were demonstrated by students. It helped the students to develop their fine motor skills while using different kinds of material and also encouraged them to use waste material for making decorative and useable items. The creativity and artistic streak of the children were observed.

Inter School Dance Competition 2019

The Inter School Dance Competition was conducted at Nandha Educational Institution, Erode. Around 40 schools participated. Students of Classes IX and XI participated in the classical and thematic dance competition and won the overall trophy.

Purple Day 2019

Purple Day was celebrated by our cherubs on 15th November, 2019. Purple stands for “Royalty” and “Power”. Here we have our super power Kindergarten students looking Royal and Powerful with their gorgeous outfit. Children enjoyed doing creative craft class activities and the day was fun filled .

Green Day Celebrations

The Colour Green which represents prosperity and fertility was celebrated by the kindergarten kids as green day today the 13th of September in an instructive way. Children were taught about the importance of the colour. Bubbling with enthusiasm in their astonishing green costumes the little ones created a pleasant, harmonious and refreshing aura.

An Eco-friendly classroom awaited the children beautifully decorated depicting the importance of living in a clean and green environment.

Many activities pertaining to green colour were organised for the kids.

Onam Celebrations

Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala is observed for 10 consecutive days as a religious and cultural festival commemorating the annual home coming of the legendary king Mahabali.  Onam, the festival of Happiness, Peace and Prosperity was celebrated in great fervour at AVPTrust Mhss on 10th September 2019. Children spoke about the importance of celebrating onam and sang a song praising the beauty of Kerala.

Teachers Day Celebration

AVP Celebrated Teachers Day at AVP TRUST MHSS Auditorium with great grandeur and splendour at the behest of the legendary Bharatanatyam Dancer, Dr Padma Subramaniam recipient of Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan Award. The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the eminent personalities. The School Pupil Leader welcomed the Chief guest and the gathering.  The Chairman and Managing Trustee of AVP Institutions Rtn. DG. A. Karthikeyan and Treasurer Mrs. Latha Karthikeyan felicitated the Chief Guest and her troupe. The audience was awestruck by the scintillating performance of the iconic dancer Dr Padma Subramaniam and troupe. It was a great inspiration for aspiring students.

The performing artists were Mrs Aditi Venkat, daughter, disciples Ms Samyukta, Ms Ramya, Ms Mahati Kannan, Ms Vidya Arasu, Ms Anugraha and  Mrs.Niveditha Arjun. The vocalists were Dr Gayatri Kannan and Mrs Radhika Muthukrishna. The mridangam was played by  Nellai Sri Balaji and Veena by Vishwa Kala Bharati Vidvan B Kannan which was a great feast to the eyes and ears.

Orientation on Healthy Food habits

We, at AVP, believe that health education is the need of the hour and the younger we begin, the better. A thought-provoking talk titled “Your health is in your hands” was conducted by Ms Jaishree Kannan, on behalf of SHARAN (Sanctuary for Health & Reconnection to Animals and Nature).

Ms Jaishree Kannan is a certified Heal Your Life workshop leader, Inner Child Therapist, NLP Practitioner, Psychologist, Social worker and Counsellor. Herself being a cancer survivor, she shared the transformational principles and practices that have changed her life, to inspire students of Classes IX to XII to recognize their magnificent self.

She explained the advantages of whole plant-based nutrition along with some cooking demo to make common favourite treats in a more healthy way. Students relished the smoothies and salads and promised to lead a healthier life for a better society in future.

Independence Day Celebrations 2019

Saluting the nation and its freedom fighters, AVP TRUST MHSS celebrated the 73rd Independence Day with great vigour.  The Chairman and Managing Trustee of AVP Institutions Rtn. DG. A. Karthikeyan, unfurled the tricolour flag on the school ground followed by the upbeat of march past and paid a tribute to the nation, its history, culture and heroes, highlighting India’s unity in diversity.

The splendid performances of a monologue by 1st-grade kids dressed up as martyr who laid down their life for the country stole the audiences’ heart. Gaiety and patriotic fervour found its vent in the gracious dance performances. Quiz on                                  After-Independence was conducted by the students of Grade 9 to 12. These enthusiastic performances depicted the unparalleled hue of unity in diversity, which truly is the pride of the nation.

The school premises were filled with patriotism and love for the country.

KG Field trip to Funzxtreme

AVP TRUST MHSS organised an ‘edutainment’ field trip for the tiny tots of kindergarten on 7th August 2019. Funzxtreme is just the right place to engage kids. This place includes an entertainment zone where kids moved around with a mix of fun and challenging attractions. The games in Funzxtreme are built to promote qualities like team building, creativity, imagination and explore various interactive and informative games and exhibits. Overall, it was a fun – frolic day where the tiny tots enjoyed different games and had a lot of fun.
